Looking for a place to volunteer? The Rochester Regional Chamber provides numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Volunteer for any of the following committees or sign up to be a Chamber Ambassador to represent the chamber on a broader level. Volunteers can also work to represent the chamber at community events including the annual Art & Apples Festival.

Committee Opportunities
Ambassador Network
The Ambassador Network is comprised of Chamber members who volunteer to serve as the "extended staff" of the Chamber. Ambassadors help welcome new chamber members, serve as greeters at events and volunteer in various other ways. Ambassadors wear red ribbons and red name tags at Chamber events so they are easily recognizable to new members.

Economic Development Committee
The Economic Development Committee exists to promote economic development in the greater Rochester community through advertisting, marketing, research and development. This group is working towards branding the area to promote all aspects of economic development including tourism, business and real estate.

Legislative Affairs
The Legislative Affairs Committee informs the chamber membership on governmental activities, legislation and regulation affecting the business community, plans the Legislative Update, the Community Outlook Luncheon and the County Commissioners Luncheon.

Tourism Advisory Board

Workforce Development Committee
The purpose of teh Workforce Development Committee is to promote a link between education and business communities, offering insights into the problems, needs and operations of the other to their mutual benefit.

Special Events Committees
Christmas Parade Committee - Contribute to the annual Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas parade in the state of Michigan. The parade is broadcast live on WXYZ-TV Channel 7.

Young Professionals of Rochester (YPR)
In partnership with Oakland University YPR is designed for new business and individuals under 40 this committee strives to bring young professionals together for fresh, fun networking opportunities.
