Getting Acquainted

For those who love reading, research or relaxation, the 70,000 square food Rochester Hills Public Library, located in downtown Rochester, is a true sanctuary.  Long known for its outstanding public service, the library owns over 265,000 books, DVDs and CDs free for rental to those who live and/or work in Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township, in addition to the theoretical millions available through interlibrary loan.  With beautiful gardens and a 750-gallon aquarium, there are many ideal places to sit back and soak in the book of your choice.

Newcomers Club of Rochester welcomes new residents of Rochester, Rochester Hills and surrounding areas within Michigan. The Newcomers Club of Rochester, Inc. is an independent, non-profit, social organization. It was organized as an outgrowth of the Rochester Kiwanis Club’s community welcome service.
